Hello everyone,

The autumn vibes are already seeping their way more and more into each day, and for many of us that means a shift back to routine: less barbecues, fewer last-minute trips out of the city, a drop in the frequency of concerts and festivals, and settling into a more consistent pace with life. Although most of us tend to grieve the warm days behind us, the fall season is a welcome chance to catch your breath, slow down a little, and get things back in order.

As grounding as that sounds, at physiobox we are still expecting a busy fall season leading us from here up to the holidays. That means demand for appointments is going to be creeping upwards as the weeks go on. If you are considering a visit in the coming weeks or months, be proactive in booking in to make sure we are able to see you. That includes massage therapy too—Jasmine is going to need some breathing room!

This summer, we welcomed our 1000th patient since opening up five years ago— a milestone that wouldn’t have been possible without the trust and support of this community. For a small clinic focused on one-on-one care, this number represents countless stories, recoveries, and relationships we’re grateful to be a part of. So despite it getting cooler outside, we are looking ahead with joy and excitement. Thank you all for your past and continued support.- Mark

An Update on Massage for a Cause

ree

To pay what you have given us forward, over the course of several weeks during this spring and summer we donated $10 from every massage therapy session to the Calgary Food Bank. Thanks to you, we raised and donated $520 to support our community. We are always looking at ways to make a positive impact on those around us, and will keep you posted on future fundraisers and ways we can give back together. A huge thank-you to Jasmine for making this happen, and for always bringing her signature positive energy to everything she does....And let's be real, this most recent fundraiser may be over, but that tension in your back and shoulders hasn't gone anywhere. Jasmine's elbows are here to help.

Train with Brielle!

ree

Congrats to our registered kinesiologist and trainer Brielle on earning a gold medal at the Ogopogo Weightlifting Championship in Kelowna this summer, as well as for qualifying for Canadian Senior Nationals next year! Beyond her own accomplishments on the platform, Brielle has also coached athletes competing at the provincial, national, and even athletes placing at the international level in Olympic weightlifting. So now that we are coming back into that fall routine, consider working with a trainer who demonstrates a next-level degree of dedication to their field.

Brielle's passion for helping people succeed goes beyond competition — she’s here to support anyone ready to move, feel stronger, gain confidence, improve their health, and stay accountable.Brielle’s schedule has filled up fast since coming on board last year, but she still has room for a few more people who are ready to make progress. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment, consider this it!

Here's to a happy fall season! Thanks for trusting us with your care. The best compliment is always the referral of a friend or family member, or by supporting your practitioner and leaving a review. Wishing you all happiness and good health!- Your physiobox Team
